Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Is a refurbished device as reliable as new?

Functionally, yes. Every device passes a 40-point diagnostic. Anything that fails is repaired with a quality-matched part or the device is rejected outright.

What battery health can I expect?

A minimum of 85% on every iPhone, with the exact figure printed on each listing. Anything below that gets a new battery before it goes on sale.

What do the condition grades mean?

A — Like new, B — Very good, C — Good describe cosmetic condition only — function is identical across all 3. See the full scale.

What does the warranty cover?

24 months on parts and labour for any fault that is not accidental or liquid damage. See warranty conditions.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes — 30 days from delivery, no reason needed, free return shipping. See returns.

Are accessories included?

A compatible charging cable ships with every device. Original boxes and headphones are not included — that is deliberate, and part of why the price and the footprint are both lower.

Is the battery genuine?

Replacement batteries are quality-matched cells that meet or exceed original capacity specification.

Will it receive iOS or macOS updates?

Yes. A refurbished device receives updates on exactly the same schedule as a new one — support is tied to the model, not to where you bought it.

Is the device unlocked?

Every device we sell is carrier-unlocked and works with any network.

How much will I actually save?

26–42% against the equivalent-new price, depending on grade. That figure is calculated against the real new price, not against a marked-up number of ours.

How long does delivery take?

2 to 4 working days across the EU, carbon-neutral, and free on every order.

Buying

What refurbished means here, and how to choose.

What does refurbished actually mean?

A device that came back to us, passed a 40-point functional diagnostic, had every failing part replaced, was wiped to factory settings and then graded cosmetically by two technicians independently. Where they disagreed on the grade, we take the lower one.

How is this different from buying used?

A used device is sold as-is by whoever owned it, with no testing and no recourse. Everything here is tested, graded to a published scale, and carries a 24-month warranty and a 30-day return window.

What do grades A, B and C mean?

A is indistinguishable from new. B has light marks from normal use. C has visible wear on the frame or back. All three are functionally identical — the grade describes appearance only. See the full scale.

How is the saving calculated?

Against the equivalent-new price of the same model and storage, not against a marked-up figure of ours. That new price is what the struck-through number on every listing shows.

Battery and accessories

What you get in the box, and what you don't.

What battery health is guaranteed?

85% minimum on every iPhone, and higher on the better grades: 95% on A, 90% on B. Anything under the floor for its grade gets a new battery before it is listed. The figure for the device you are looking at is printed on the listing.

Can I have a brand-new battery fitted?

Yes, on most models. It is offered as an add-on in the buy box and fitted before dispatch, which resets the battery to 100% of its original capacity.

What comes in the box?

The device and a compatible charging cable. Original packaging and headphones are not included — that is deliberate, and part of why both the price and the footprint are lower.

Is the device still water resistant?

Treat it as not water resistant. Refurbishment breaks the factory seal, so the original IP rating cannot honestly be carried forward and is excluded from the warranty. Any refurbisher claiming otherwise is guessing.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Getting it, sending it back, and what happens if something goes wrong.

How long does delivery take?

Two to four working days across the EU, free and carbon-neutral. Orders placed before 14:00 CET are dispatched the same day. The estimated arrival window is shown on every product page.

Can I return it?

Within 30 days of delivery, for any reason or none. Return shipping is free and there is no restocking fee. How returns work.

What does the warranty cover?

24 months on parts and labour for any fault that is not accidental damage or liquid ingress. Contact us and we arrange collection, repair or replacement at no cost. Full conditions.

Can I extend the warranty?

Yes — 12 or 24 extra months, added as an add-on in the buy box at the time of purchase. It covers the same faults on the same terms, just for longer.

Selling us your device

Trade-in, from quote to payout.

How does trade-in work?

Answer four questions about the device and you get an indicative figure straight away. Send it in with the prepaid label, we confirm a firm offer once it is on the bench, and you get paid or the device back at our cost. Get a figure.

Why is the online figure only indicative?

Because nobody can grade a device they have not held. The online number comes from our current price table for that model and condition; the firm offer comes after a technician has checked it. If the two differ, you can decline and we return it free.

What happens to my data?

Every device is wiped to factory settings on arrival, before anything else happens to it. Wipe it yourself first if you can — but if you forget, it is erased either way.

Payment and account

Which payment methods can I use?

Every method shown at the bottom of any page, including card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Instalments are available where our provider offers them in your country.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, by email with your order confirmation, and in your account under order history. VAT is shown separately for business customers.
