Our refurbishment process

Our refurbishment process

Every device passes through four stages before it is listed. Anything that fails a stage is repaired or rejected — never quietly downgraded.

1. Sourcing and verification

We buy back from businesses and consumers across Europe. Every serial number is checked against Apple's activation lock status and against European theft and loss registries before we pay for it.

2. The 40-point diagnostic

Battery capacity and cycle count, display uniformity and touch response, dead pixels, all cameras and lenses, speakers and microphones, every button, charging port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular radios, GPS, Face ID or Touch ID, and the enclosure seal.

3. Repair and grading

Failed components are replaced with quality-matched parts. Any iPhone below 85% battery health receives a new battery as standard. Two technicians then grade cosmetic condition independently.

4. Data wipe and dispatch

Every device is erased to DoD 5220.22-M standard and restored to a clean, current OS install. It ships carbon-neutral in plastic-free packaging with a compatible charging cable.
