Buying a renewed MacBook

Every device here has passed the same diagnostic and carries the same warranty. The only thing that changes between grades is how it looks.

Buying refurbished, answered

Is refurbished the same as used?

No. A used device is sold as-is by whoever owned it. Every device here has been through a 40-point functional diagnostic, had its data wiped, been graded cosmetically by two technicians independently, and carries a 24-month warranty.

Which grade should I buy?

If the device lives in a case, grade C is the same phone for less money. If you want it to look new out of the box, take A. Function is identical — the grade only describes how it looks.

How much can I actually save?

Between 26% and 42% against the equivalent-new price, depending on grade. The saving on each listing is calculated against that new price, not against a marked-up figure of ours.

What if it arrives and I don't get on with it?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. Return shipping is free and you do not have to give a reason.
